Women's Health

The Florida Department of Health in Highlands County offers several programs that focus on women's health. These services are available to all women in Highlands County, regardless of ability to pay. We offer referrals for breast and cervical cancer screenings, as needed, along with family planning, pregnancy testing, and WIC. Most insurance is accepted, including Medicaid and Medicare, and we offer a sliding scale fee for those who qualify.
