Through federal funding from the Office of Refugee Resettlement, the Refugee Health Program at the Florida Department of Health in Highlands County provides health assessments and immunization services to:
- Refugees
- Those seeking asylum
- Cuban and Haitian asylum applicants
- Cuban and Haitian entrants, including parolees
- Amerasians
