School Health Program
The School Health Program at the Florida Department of Health in Highlands County (DOH-Highlands) works with the Highlands County School District to provide comprehensive screenings and health services to children in public schools. Various health, developmental, and nutrition education activities are offered each year, along with flu vaccine clinics and dental sealants to elementary-aged students.
